Arborlawn Singles is holding a special, early TNT (Tuesday Night Together) event this month on Dec. 18 with a Christmas Party at Liz Hill's home. (TNT is usually on the fourth Tuesday, but Christmas preempts that this month.)
 
Join us from 6-8 p.m. on Dec. 18 for holiday homemade eggnog and hot spiced drinks. Plus, bring your favorite holiday snack to share and a white elephant gift. If you shop for a new white elephant, spend less than $15. Recycled nice or silly gifts are great fun too.

All are invited to the Arborlawn Singles second Sunday Coffee and Chat November edition on Nov. 11 during the Sunday School hour in the Worship Center.

Singles Group hosting TCU speaker on September 9

 
Arborlawn's Singles Group is hosting a talk by Dr. James Riddlesperger as part of its monthly Coffee and Chat series. The event is at 9:45 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 9 in the Worship Center, and all are invited.
 
Dr. Riddlesperger is a professor of political science at TCU. His interests are in the presidency, Congress, and Texas politics. He is past president of the Southwestern Political Science Association and the current Chief Reader for the College Board's Advance Placement U.S. Government exam. Riddlesperger and his family are members of First United Methodist Church of Fort Worth, where he has served on the Church Council, the Staff Parish Relations Committee, as a delegate to Annual Conference, and in many other capacities. 
 
Everyone's welcome to come hear Dr. Riddlesperger's unique perspective on politics and the United Methodist Church.

Saturday, June 16, 8:15 p.m. - Concerts in the Garden at Fort Worth Botanic Garden. "Reckless Kelly" country and rock. Tickets $16 in advance, $22 day of show.
 
Tuesday, June 26, 6:30 p.m. - Tuesday Night Together (TNT) dinner at Rockfish Seafood Grill (3050 S. Hulen).
 
Wednesday, July 4, 7 p.m. - "A Salute to America" concert and ice cream party at the church. We'll sit together.
 
Saturday, July 14 - Event to be determined; something inside and cool.

The Arborlawn Singles Group is for singles of all ages, whether single, divorced, or widowed. It meets on the third Tuesday of every month at a variety of restaurants in Fort Worth for dinner and fellowship. Singles ministry starts this month

Arborlawn will soon be kicking off a new ministry for singles of all ages. If you’re single, divorced, or widowed and are interested in being a part of this new ministry, you are invited to join us for an evening of fellowship and hors d’oeuvres on June 16, at 7 p.m., in the Gathering Area. 
 
This will be a great opportunity to meet other singles at Arborlawn and in our community and contribute to the development of this exciting new ministry.
