Merrymakers: Fitting Name; Luncheon Feb. 25; “Singing in the Rain” Mar. 28

 
The Merrymakers (Arborlawn's Seniors Group) have a very fitting name. It fits each time we gather to praise God through our love for and enjoyment of one another. Let us treat you to a covered dish luncheon on Wednesday, February 25 at 12:00 p.m. in the SAM Building. (We do this each month on the 4th Wednesday.) All church members age 50 and over are welcome! We also plan and share other activities that you will also see in The Vine. Please call or email Marilyn Anderson and we'll talk more about what a great group we have.
 
Join the group on Saturday, March 28 to see the 3:00 p.m. matinee of "Singing in the Rain" at Artisan Center Theater (418 E. Pipeline Road, Hurst, 76053).  Cost is $13.20, and the van costs $5 each. Please pay when you make your reservations with Janet Roberson. The church bus will leave the Arborlawn parking lot at 2:00 p.m. Dinner is after the play at Italianni's in Hurst. (Please note the November gathering every year is not on the customary 4th Wednesday, as that is too close to Thanksgiving.) Come join the fellowship, and stay for games afterward. Merrymakers (Arborlawn’s Seniors Group) is going to see “Father of the Bride” at the Plaza Theater in Cleburne on Saturday, September 20 at the 3:00 p.m. matinee. The ticket cost is $13, and the van cost is $5. You must pay at the time you make your reservation. We will leave the church at 2:00 p.m., and we will carpool.
