Local Fest on October 19 to feature charity run for Living Water; register today for the run

 
The second annual Local Fest is Saturday, October 19 from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Join us for this family fun time of live music, food trucks, and a special charity run benefitting Living Water. We'll also have inflatables for the kids, and Fort Worth Police will be on hand to conduct some children's I.D. procedures.
 

The Run for Water will be at 10:30 a.m. and then again at 12:00 p.m. Our hope is to simulate the journey families in other countries must take daily to retrieve water. At the halfway mark each runner will receive a bucket of water to carry to complete the run. Register for Run for Water.
 
Local bands this year include Luke Wade and No Civilians, Andrew Sullivan, and Whisper War.

Local Fest here this Saturday; celebrate community with us: food, music, family fun, and lots of arts and crafts shopping

 
Don’t miss out on the family fun we have planned for this Saturday, Oct. 27 at Local Fest. The whole community is invited, so bring your friends and neighbors for a day of food, autumn festivities, and lots and lots of shopping. Local crafters and vendors will have handmade baby gifts, ornaments, decorations, clothes, tons of jewelry, and other goods for sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in our Craft Fair.
 

We invite children to wear Halloween costumes for carnival games, face painting, and other family fun from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Enjoy some of Fort Worth’s best food trucks (including our friends from Red Jett Sweets and others) as they stop by from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and listen to to live music from local artists Bus Seven, Jason Nix, Andrew Sullivan, and Whisper War, also from 11 to 3. Be a part of Local Fest and make some new friends.

We're all looking forward to Local Fest on Saturday, Oct. 27, as Arborlawn welcomes the local community for a day of family fun, food, and festivities.
 
Local crafters and vendors will have handmade baby gifts, ornaments, decorations, clothes, accessories and other goods for sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in our Craft Fair.

We're packing the house for Local Fest on Oct. 27

 
Local Fest is coming up Saturday, Oct. 27. Join us from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and help us celebrate a lot of local goodies: crafts and goods, music, food, and family fun.
 
Local Fest is an event where the entire family can enjoy a craft fair, Pumpkin Patch games and fun for the kids, live music, and food trucks.
 

Musical acts include Bus Seven, Jason Nix, Andrew Sullivan, and Whisper War. Food trucks planning to swing by are Red Jett Sweets, Gepetto's Pizza, Nammi Truck, and Cajun Tailgators.
 
Craft Fair booths are filling up fast, but we still have room. (Please note: we are all booked up with jewelry and embroidery vendors.) If you or someone you know is interested in exhibiting crafts, register today.
