Elizabeth Cramer Chapel dedication May 19 at 12:15 p.m.

 
Jud Cramer and family cordially invite everyone to honor the life of Elizabeth Cramer at the dedication of the Elizabeth Cramer Chapel on Sunday, May 19 at 12:15 p.m. A light luncheon of finger foods follows in the Lower Commons.
 

The Elizabeth Cramer Chapel is a generous gift to Arborlawn from the Cramer family in memory of their beloved Elizabeth. The facility seats 150 and will be used for weddings, funerals, special seasonal worship services, and other events. Seven Old Testament windows from the Sanctuary of the former Westcliff UMC are presented on the south wall of the chapel. Also, the colorful and stunning Nativity window from Westcliff graces the area above the altar.

A Prayer Walk for the new facility is Wednesday, May 15 at 6:00 p.m. All are welcome to join the Prayer Ministry in this effort.

The Elizabeth Cramer Chapel is a generous gift to Arborlawn from Jud Cramer. The facility seats 150 and will be used for weddings, funerals, special seasonal worship services, and other events as needed.
 
Please remain after the dedication for a light luncheon of finger foods in the Lower Commons.

Elizabeth Cramer Chapel beam signing Sunday, Oct. 14

 
Join us Sunday, Oct. 14 after the 11 a.m. and 11:11 a.m. servcies as we celebrate the construction of the Elizabeth Cramer Chapel with a special beam signing ceremony. Everyone in the congregation is invited to sign their names, record a particular scripture, write a brief prayer, or offer a note of appreciation to Jud and Elizabeth, giving thanks to God for the gift of the chapel.
   
A steel beam will be displayed just outside the northwest entrance to the Sanctuary. The beam we’ll be signing will eventually be installed as the primary support structure for the Stained Glass Nativity window that will adorn the chancel area in the Elizabeth Cramer Chapel.
   
To future generations whose lives will be blessed by the chapel, the beam will serve as a hidden reminder of God’s eternal presence and promise, the generosity of Jud and Elizabeth Cramer, and our commitment as Arborlawn to faithfully serve the people of our community.

Groundbreaking July 22 for the Elizabeth Cramer Chapel

 
Join us this Sunday, July 22, at 12:15 p.m. for a special groundbreaking ceremony as we begin construction of the Elizabeth Cramer Chapel. The ceremony will take place outside the west doors of the Sanctuary on the future site of the Elizabeth Cramer Chapel. The chapel is made possible by the remarkable generosity of Jud Cramer and family.
 

We’re deeply grateful for the extraordinary gift and excited about the important role the Chapel will play in our future ministry with our congregation and community. We invite you to join us this Sunday as we celebrate the beginning phase of the Elizabeth Cramer Chapel.
