All Saints is the day set aside in the Christian Year to remember those who we love who have made a significant impact on our lives and faith and have completed this life and now live forever in the church eternal. This year All Saints Day is Sunday, November 2.
We would like to invite everyone to hang a bell or bells on the Remembrance Banner to honor those who you love who are the saints who have gone before us. You can hang as many bells as you would like. Please sign the Remembrance Sheet next to the banners so your loved one's name can be printed in the Worship Guide. The banners will be used in the processional at the beginning of our Traditional Services on All Saints Sunday. As the bells ring at the beginning of the service, we are reminded of the sacredness of this life and of the lives of those who live within us and whose love fill us.
You are welcome to hang a memory bell or bells on the Remembrance Banners in the Lower Commons on October 12, 19, and 26.
We look forward to this memorable service and pray it will be a blessing to everyone as we remember those who have touched our lives, shared life with us, and offered to us a glimpse of what the love of Christ is truly like. We honor each of these on Sunday, November 2.
