Schola Cantorum Monday, March 3
Schola Cantorum of Texas is performing “The Peaceable Kingdom” here on Monday, March 3 at 7:30 p.m. Featuring some of Schola’s audience favorites, the title piece of this concert is Randall Thompson’s thirty-minute work for chorus and organ. The concert will also feature performances of Bernstein’s “Chichester Psalms,” Sviridov’s “Reveille,” and Tavener’s “Song for Athene.” Tickets are $20 for Adults, $18 for Seniors and Educators, and $5 for College and High School Students. Fort Worth Community Band Sunday, March 9
Concerts at Arborlawn welcomes Fort Worth Community Band on Sunday, March 9 at 3:00 p.m. Led by Christine Beason, Director of Bands at Texas Wesleyan University, the Fort Worth Community Band is comprised of local citizens from all walks of life and different professions, joined together by a love for performing concert band music.
