All Saints is the day set aside in the Christian Year to remember those who we love who have made a significant impact on our lives and faith and have completed this life and now live forever in the church eternal.
This year All Saints Day is Sunday, November 3. Every year during our service the names of the members who have died in the past year are spoken aloud during the worship service and a bell is rung in their memory. This year, in addition, we invite everyone to participate in this act of corporate worship by remembering those you love by placing a bell on the new All Saints Banner.
Simply fill out a Remembrance Card on the table in the Lower Commons on Sundays, October 20 and 27, choose a bell, and hang it on the banner. You are welcome to hang as many bells as you want to represent those you love who have died.
The All Saints Banner will be used during our traditional worship services on Sunday, November 3. The Saints are those who have touched our lives, shared life with us, and offered to us a glimpse of what the love of Christ is truly like. We honor each of these on Sunday, November 3.
