Arborlawn is partnering this fall with Trinity Habitat for Humanity and the Obegi/Aganyo family to construct a new home for the family.
Kennedy Obegi & Teresa Aganyo, and their daughter Felistas and son Joshua, look forward to meeting the Arborlawn volunteers who will be helping with this project. Mr. Obegi said, "We are very excited to finally have a home to call our own! Our children can have their own bedrooms, and we will no longer have to worry about space for visitors. We will also be responsible by maintaining our home instead of waiting on a landlord to make repairs. We have enjoyed earning sweat equity hours while working on construction sites. We have made new friends and helped many families along the way."
The address for the Obegi/Aganyo build site is 5401 Van Natta Lane, Fort Worth, TX 76112.
Look for signup sheets starting this Sunday in the Lower Commons. All shift times for the build dates listed below are 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Please arrive at the build site by 7:30 a.m. If you want to caravan from the church, call Roy Rambo (number below) and let him know.
