Finally in the Land: In John MacArthur’s Finally in the Land: God Meets His People’s Needs, follow in the footsteps of Rahab, Deborah, Gideon, and Ruth – and see how their stories reflect your struggles and joys today! As this in-depth 12-week study grants you new understanding of the world in which these and other characters lived, you’ll come to see their courage and faithfulness in a new light. DATES/TIMES: Wednesdays, Sept. 4 - Nov. 20, 9:30-11:30 a.m. PRESENTER: Lisa Garrett. BOOK: See Lisa Garrett.
Breaking Free: This 11-week Beth Moore study, looks at the Book of Isaiah through the lives of the kings who ruled during the prophet’s ministry. These kings exemplify many of the obstacles to freedom with which we must deal. Using scripture to help identify spiritual strongholds in your life, no matter how big or small, Moore explains that anything that hinders us from the benefits of knowing God is bondage. DATES/TIMES: Wednesdays, Sept. 4 - Nov. 13, 9:30-11:30 a.m. PRESENTER: Debbie Shannon. BOOK: Available in book stores.
Embraced by God: Every woman longs to know that she is loved, accepted, and valued. Yet many women struggle to understand and accept just how much God really loves them. Drawing upon her own personal journey to understand how very much God loves her – not as a singer or teacher but as His beloved daughter – contemporary gospel singer Babbie Mason equips women, in the book Embraced by God, to accept God’s unfailing love as they understand and claim seven biblical promises. DATES/TIMES: Wednesdays, Sept. 4 - Oct. 23, 9:30-11:30 a.m. PRESENTER: Dana Cook. BOOK: See Dana Cook.
Namesake: Every name tells a story. Names in scripture were often given to tell the story of a person’s identity, upbringing, or character. When God transforms lives, God often brings more than we bargained for: new identites, new journeys, even new names. Namesake – a Bible study by Jessica LaGrone – is a six-week Bible study that explores the transformational power of God through the stories of biblical characters who met God and whose lives and names were changed forever. DATES/TIMES: Starting Oct. 30, 9:30-11:30 a.m. PRESENTER: Dana Cook.
