WestAid (7940 Camp Bowie West) announces its 8th Annual Trinity Trek 5K Run and 1-Mile Walk/Run on Saturday, May 11.
The fun this year is at Panther Island Pavilion (1098 West Peach Street, Fort Worth, 76102). The 5K race start at 8:00 a.m., while the 1-Mile course gets going at 9:00 a.m. There will also be a blessing of pets during the family-friendly event.
Registration is $15 two weeks prior, $18 two days prior, $20 the day of the race, and $12 each for teams (three or more participants). Register online at Active.com. Just enter Trinity Trek in the search engine. Or, pick up a registration form at the Welcome Kiosk and mail it to Jim Roach at WestAid (address on the form).
Funds raised at Trinity Trek help WestAid provide services to individuals in need due to lost employment, medical emergencies, and/or the addition of unplanned "mouths to feed," etc.
