The Chancel Choir and The Orchestra at Arborlawn recorded the Oct. 21 concert for a CD release called "How Can I Keep From Singing." The recording, priced at $15, will be available through the church office and at the Welcome Kiosks in the Lower Commons. The release date is set for Sunday, Dec. 16, just in time for Christmas.
This recording, also featuring Cantabile, our youth ensemble, includes repertoire selected as favorites of Chancel Choir members, as follows: "Come, Thou Fount of Every Blessing;" Beethoven’s "Hallelujah;" "How Can I Keep From Singing;" "O Be Joyful in the Lord;" "Declare the Maker’s Praise;" "Praise the Lord" by Handel; "He Watching Over Israel" from Elijah; "Come, Dwell in Solomon’s Walls;" "Zion’s Walls;" "The Understanding of the Lord;" "Sing Me to Heaven;" "My Song in the Night;" Dan Forrest’s "In Paradisum;" and "Fairest Lord Jesus." Put this wonderful recording of favorite anthems on your Christmas list this year!
