Arborlawn's Faith Community Nurse Ministry recently conducted a survey. Thank you to all who participated in this exercise. The FCN Ministry received 101 surveys, and here are some of the results.
The Pharmacy Brown Bag proved to be a popular seminar last year, and many requested a return engagement.
The top 10 offerings requested: Aging Well and Life Transitions, Stress, CPR Renewal, Exercise Groups, Healthy Eating, First Aid, End of Life Issues, Weight Control, Alzheimers and Other Memory Disorders, and Caring for Elderly Parents.
Other requests: Last Will and Testament, Living Will, Marriage Health, Smoking Cessation, Caregiving for Family Members, Funeral Options and Planning, Conflict Resolution, Healthy Families and Planning, Hospice Care, and Adolescent Health Issues.
Preferred times for seminars, classes, and events: mornings, M-W-Th; evenings, M-T-W-Th.
The Faith Community Nurse Ministry thanks everyone who participated in the survey. Input received helps the ministry improve its mission and provide needed the offerings. Together, the FCN nurses and the Health and Wellness Team will be working on your requests. It is never too late to help with this ministry. If you or someone you know would like to be a part of FCN, contact Kay Finley, RN/FCN or Associate Pastor DeAndrea Dare (817-731-0701).
