Arborlawn's Prayer Ministry hosted a successful seminar last weekend with the day-long presentation by author and speaker Dr. Terry Tekyl. The Prayer Encounter Seminar was outstanding, with more than 150 attendees going away inspired, entertained, and, most importantly, equipped to grow in their daily prayer lives.
If you missed this or were unable to come, we have good news. You can order a DVD of the seminar. The DVD cost is $10, with proceeds defraying seminar expenses. All orders must be received and prepaid by Monday, Sept. 24. Look for the salmon-colored (light orange) order form at the east Welcome Kiosk on Sunday or in the church office. Please allow 4-5 weeks for delivery. Note: By agreement with Terry Teykl’s ministry, the DVD is for personal use only. Please do not use it for marketing purposes or public viewing.
Also, if you attended the Prayer Encounter Seminar last Saturday, you saw the Prayer Ministry team and Arborlawn staff wearing black "Got Prayer?" T-shirts. Many of you loved the shirts and asked about purchasing them, so the Prayer Ministry decided to make them available to the congregation.
The front of the shirt says “Got Prayer?” in white letters. The back, also in white letters, has the Arborlawn Prayer Ministry web page and quotes 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18: "Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus."
