Arborlawn's Faithfully Fit Forever (FFF) group announces its next session, which runs from January 15 through April 15. The group meets every Monday and Thursday; one group at 8:45 a.m. and the other at 7:00 p.m. in the SAM Building. The cost is $10 for this period. Sessions last for about one hour with 30-40 minutes of exercise and 20 minutes of devotion and health information. You can strengthening your muscles, build your energy and endurance, and help your balance; all in addition to hearing inspiring devotions, experiencing laughter, and forming friendships. Women and men of all ages are welcome to participate.
The group enjoys yoga, Zumba, and various other forms of exercise, including ping pong (which is very popular and great exercise), and, new this term, dance.
Faithfully Fit Forever is a holistic approach to fitness that enhances body, mind, and spirit connections as they relate to our health and quality of life. It includes practical education about issues that we encounter every day connecting faith and health.
Faithfully Fit Forever helps lower blood pressure, lower cholesterol, decrease body fat, increase energy levels, increase tolerance to stress and depression, helps control and prevent diabetes, improves balance and overall strength, helps people who have arthritis and osteoporosis, improves lung and heart functions, and helps with many other health issues.
Faithfully Fit Forever includes a range of offerings including stress management, relaxation, and health information. We also include several different types of exercises, such as: yoga; walk out exercises with low impact prime time routines; low impact prime time routines; Zumba for primetime; trim, tone, and flex routines for upper body and lower body to build muscle, burn fat, get flexible, and tone muscle; and aerobic exercises for balance, strengthening, and flexibility.
