Family Christmas Eve Service:
All Children Invited to Participate
in Christmas Pageant
Your family will not want to miss the special Family Christmas Eve service on Dec. 24 at 5 p.m. This year, all children are invited to participate in a Christmas Pageant during the worship service. Costumes will be provided and no rehearsal is required. Children will simply pick out the costumes before the service begins and then will sit with their family until a designated time in the service. Please plan to arrive early so your child will be able to choose his or her costume for the Christmas Pageant during the service. Christmas carols will be sung, Communion will be served by families, special music and readings will be shared by youth and children, and candles and glow sticks will be used during the traditional singing of Silent Night. This is a service that your family will remember for years to come. Join us for our Family Christmas Eve service on December 24th at 5 p.m. as we welcome Christ once again into our world, homes, and hearts.
Christmas Eve: A Majestic Service
of Traditional Carols
This service features Arborlawn's Chancel Choir and The Brasses at Arborlawn with Organist Jerry Westenkuehler in a majestic service of traditional carols. The Chancel Choir will be singing John Rutter’s “The Coming of Our King” and “Sans Day Carol” in addition to Dan Forrest’s “O Come, All Ye Faithful” and Craig Courtney’s poignant “Silent Night.” Senior Minister Ben Disney will be preaching, the Christmas story will be read, the sacrament of Communion will be observed, and candles will be lit. Join us for this meaningful opening to Christmastide!
Valet parking will be available for each Christmas Eve service in the Briarhaven Road parking lot on the east side of the Sanctuary. Child care is also available during each service.
